LAKE COUNTY NEWS-HERALD ENDORSES CORDRAY

Columbus -- Franklin County Treasurer Richard Cordray is a “convincing choice” for state treasurer because of his “vast experience and a proven record of working with members of the opposing party,” the Lake County News-Herald said in their editorial endorsement today.

“If voters want the next state treasurer to be someone with a vision for helping to create jobs with a full grasp of the responsibilities of the office, then they should elect Franklin County Treasurer Richard Cordray,” the editorial stated.

The newspaper noted that Ashtabula County Auditor Sandra O’Brien “has a history of suing other public officials or being sued.

“This is counterproductive when a walk down the hall could have prevented a waste of money.”
