Shamansky Campaign update - Saturday, October 21, 2006

Just 17 Days remain until Bob takes back Ohio's 12th Congressional District - and we need your help.

Bob is well within striking district, and thousands of local and national democrats are working to help ensure Bob's victory.

On Wednesday, speaking at the National Press club in Washington D.C., Congressman Chris Van Hollen of Maryland listed Bob's race as one of two emerging Democratic races to watch, saying "We are in a position today where the field is growing as we are three weeks out from the election."

On Friday, before an audience at Nationwide Insurance's Civic Action Program, respected political analyst and publisher of the Cook Political report Charlie Cook called Bob's race a 50-50 chance.

That's a huge change in a district once considered "Safe Republican" and a real testament to all of your hard work. This is our opportunity. We need your help to push Bob over the top, and send him back to Washington next year.

We're still gaining momentum, but, we need your help to contact voters and tell them about Bob. We're running phone banks, canvasses and lit drops from our Columbus offices, as well as in Newark and Delaware. Call (614) 849-0260, or email to find out how you can help.
