Voter Protection Hotline -- Help on Election Day!

Still waiting for the perfect job on Election Day?

Wait no more: You can help with the Voter Protection Hotline!

If you are a reliable worker who enjoys trouble shooting and has patience, we need you NOW.

The Ohio Democratic Party has set up a 1-888-DEM-VOTE hotline on Election Day November 7th to field calls from poll observers and the general public.

Volunteers are needed to work at the call center in 3 to 4 hour shifts throughout the day (6:00 am to 7:30 pm). Volunteers will field calls from all over Ohio and questions will cover everything from routine inquiries (where’s my voting location) to more sophisticated legal questions. We’ll provide training, reference materials, computer resources and legal experts to assist you. Currently, we expect the call center will be set up at the Seafarer’s Union Hall located at 2800 S. High Street in Columbus (just south of Route 104).

Training will be provided for all volunteers and will cover topics such as likely inquiries and how to route calls If you are willing and able to volunteer at the call center, please contact one of us using the information below. Thank you for your help with this effort. We look forward to working together to make this year’s election fair and efficient!!

Please forward this message to all your Democratic Friends.
